With a generous donation from Eber Cobleigh, the library was built in 1906. Mr. Cobleigh envisioned "a place for study and pleasure and that much good will come from it..." The library is open six days a week and is handicapped accessible. It is located in downtown Lyndonville on Depot Street.

The Darling Inn Meal Site/Lyndon Area Meal Site is opened to the public serving a noon-time meal. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. There is a suggested donation of $3.50 for anyone 60 years of age or older, and a fee of $5.50 for anyone under 60. There is usually music once or twice a week from 11:00 a.m to noon. Pre-paid meal tickets and gift certificates are available for the "one" who has everything!
